2023 Poolplayers Championships Event Design

The American Poolplayers Association hosts a major event called the APA Poolplayer Championships every spring. To ensure each event is unique, the branding is updated accordingly. Though I didn't create the brand guide for the event, I participated in various design projects

Creating an Engaging and User-Friendly Event Program

Out of all the tasks to prepare for this event, designing the event program is one of the biggest. It requires a coordinated effort from multiple departments within our company, and is an essential component for attendees. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to ensure that the design is user-friendly, especially on mobile devices. As the designer, I took charge of everything from animation and video insertion to adding helpful links that will enhance the user's experience. You can view the digital version of the program here.

Live Stream Production & Photography

During the event, my role was to oversee all aspects of the live stream productions and photography. This included leading the setup and tear-down of all production equipment and ensuring that everything was stored securely. As the leader of the live streams, I ensured that everything ran smoothly.

You can watch some of the lives streams here and here.

In addition to managing the live streams, I was also responsible for event photography. This involved making sure that we captured all the necessary photos, editing them, and sending them to our social media manager daily. I also assisted in managing other shooters from my team during the event.
